Conceptual illustration of the passage from data and observations toward findings, insights, and decisions.

User research findings are relevant patterns, behaviors, problems, or relationships that emerge when analyzing evidence gathered during a study.

In UX research they turn interviews, observations, usability tests, surveys, or metrics into knowledge that helps teams understand a problem and make product decisions.

A finding describes what is happening. An insight helps explain what it means. A recommendation proposes what we might do about it.
